Trip to the trottage!

Looking back at these photos, it looks like it was a really great trip to the Trottage! I think I must have been so exhausted with the preparations, that I don't recall it being quite so... fun! I remember it being alot of work, I remember needing a nap and not getting one, and I remember two boys who wouldn't listen, and a daughter who we couldn't keep up with. Thank goodness photographs paint a much brighter story!

Here is our drive to the trottage. Too bad this photograph doesn't have a volume sample, these kids are aweful noisy when they are excited and hopped up on sugar from Tim Hortons.

Priya hamming it up for the camera. She is hard to catch in action shots because the minute she sees the camera she stops what she is doing and smiles at the camera.

Here is Liam, at first he and Aidan wanted to get out to the little dock out in the water but were too afraid. Aidan just went up to an older girl and asked her to take him on her boogie board. After several shy attempts, Liam asked for assistance and he too had a great time being shuttled out to the dock and then jumping back in to swim to shore.

I am sure we all seem to be happy here, but what the photograph doesn't indicate is that is was way too early to be up eating breakfast!

Awe, with a sweet, milky smile like that, how can I help but cater to those kiddies!

(I can hardly wait til they are teenagers and I can wake them up at 6am!! Ha, that will be my sweet revenge!)
