Happy 6th Birthday Liam!!!

Liam had his birthday this weekend, it was pretty hectic. His actual birthday was Friday and he had a party to go to in the evening for his friend Matthew. Aidan got to crash the party too, which he loved. Saturday was long run day for me, 16K again. The kiddies stayed home with our Saturday Nanny and she took them out for a walk and to the park to play. Glen and I did went for breaky and then did our errands. I was in slow motion due to my busy morning and a sore hip from the run. Glen had to go out for 3 ish, so we came home and I snuck up to bed until 4 pm for a rest. After the kids were in bed, it was time to prepare for the big party!

10 am Sunday morning, we had 8 kids plus ours and they were all really well behaved. It was a great party and aside from the fact that Liam didn't want to stop playing to do his cake (Liam doesn't actually like cake or vanilla ice cream), it went off without a hitch. He had a really nice time and from the photos, you will see it was a Scooby Doo theme, but with everyone in costume!

Happy Easter!!

What a nice long weekend, Liam had four days off and it was really nice. He also got an award at school last week for Responsibility and they had a little assembly and we were able to see him get his award in front of the school. I would post some photos but they were too far back, he looks like a little speck.

Glen is good, his work has slowed to a normal pace again. He got his Aidan and Priya tattoos on Saturday!! I was with him and it was very painful for him. I think we get more sensitive when we age.
Easter was good, the kiddies loved their easter egg hunt and they have already consumed most of their find. Glen's brother brought the turkey for dinner, and John brought the dessert so all I had to do was the veggies, salad and cook it all up! It was good, and it is always nice to get the left overs. Mmmmmmm.

Aidan is starting to get into a four year old mode I think. He is really calming down and it is great. I am not sure if it is because we are no longer going to nursery school so he can relax with me in the mornings while Liam is at school and Priya is napping, or maybe it is just an age thing. He still is Aidan, but he seems to be very different without any sibling competition.

Liam loves riding his bike, we are out almost every afternoon now. He has a little friend Jack who comes by and they do little tricks together. Aidan will probably lose his training wheels this year so look out!!

Here is Priya in Grandma's Easter dress! Priya got another tooth on Thursday. Her two bottom ones are in. Needless to say we have had our share of long nights, and grumpy moments but she is doing just great. She is six months, 21 pounds, 90% percentile for height and over 100% for weight. Had to get her into her new carseat already which is a shame because the newborn seats are great for lugging them from place to place without having to bother them too much. She could easily sleep in her chair while we were out but not anymore. (though I had her in the cart at Costco yesterday, sitting in the cart with the little belt on, and she fell asleep in that so maybe she just isn't too picky)
I had my first 16k run on Saturday, it was very long but I did it. This Saturday I have to do it again, and eventually we go to 20k before the May 27th race day of 21k. I am getting excited to get to that day already. The aim is to do 21k in two hours.

Well I hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend and we hope to hear from you soon!
