The snow has melted away!

It is so great that the snow has all melted, I am sure we haven't seen the last of the little white flakes, but we are enjoying our time outside again after months of being cooped up!!

Here is Liam and Aidan playing with their leapad, having a nice time together without wrestling!

Priya absolutely loves this jolly jumper! She now wants to jump around constantly.

Awe, what can I say about that!

Here is Priya in one of her new outfits sent by Grandma Grace.

Here are the boys playing with their newest toy. A Nintendo Wii. It is super cool because they actually physically do the moves themselves. Liam loves the baseball and Aidan is awesome at golf.

I cannot believe Liam's 6th birthday is coming this month! SIX! SIX! He has chosen to hold his birthday here at home again this year and has invited 8 friends. His theme is Scooby Doo with a twist. He wants all his friends to dress up in costume. He has loved going to the October birthday parties because of the dressing up, so he wants to do it for his party. We had thought he would like to go somewhere else for his party, he has gone to so many other places for other parties. But he wants it at home which is actually very nice. Apparently one of his friends told him he wanted him to have his party at Cosmic Adventure and Liam told him he was having it at his house and that if he doesn't like it, he can't come! Too funny!

We hired a Saturday nanny who came for her first day this Saturday. It was really enjoyable. The kids really like her and she even had them out for bike rides on her first day. Three kids outside is a pretty impressive feat when you are just learning the ropes. There will be loads of days we will be out with the kids too, and she will just come and clean, or stay with Priya while she naps. This weekend Liam and Aidan have a birthday party for 3 hours, so she is going to stay with Priya and tidy for us. Other days we plan on having special days with each one of the kids on their own as well as days all to ourselves. She comes from 10 - 4pm and I am really happy with her.

So all is well on the training front. I ran 12k this weekend, and am doing four other shorter runs within the week. Next weekend it's 14k, then 16k the following weekend. I am running with three other women, one who is a nurse, another who is a physiotherapist and the other has experience running the half marathon. I feel like the underdog, but if you are going to run with people, this is a good group. Glen has started his training again. He has chosen the 5k instead of jumping into the 10, which is still awesome. He has started running with Liam (riding his bike). I am so proud of him.

All is good with the kids and baby!! They are extra lovely now that I have had a little break from them! :-)

March Break

Yay! We survived March Break! Even through in a KFC Dinner to make it feel like an authentic Fobel holiday! (My stomach is already rethinking this tradition for next year... )

The kids had a great week, we went to childminding at the gym a few mornings so I could fit in my runs and the boys loved being back in their old stomping ground. We had some playdates with friends we hadn't seen in a while and took a few more to Kidz Sports World. The boys have had a great time learning how to play Glen's new Wii Nintendo playing golf, bowling, tennis, and baseball.

Today we went to the Museum of Nature and it was great fun. The boys really like it there and it is my favorite museum other that the Agricultural Museum which is basically a big farm. Here are some photos from today's outing.

The amazing mammoths outside the Museum of Nature. If the boys look cold, it's because it was freeeeeeezzzzzziiinnngggggg today. Poor Priya is somewhere in the background in her stroller saying "Hurry up already!"

My two little adventurers out searching for dinosaurs.

A big scary polar bear on the mammals floor. Not quite as cool as the dinosaurs.

Aidan quite liked this exhibit because their was actually alot of rabbit poop in the snow. Go figure.

The real dinosaurs were fantastic, Liam liked the one's in the photo behind them. Aidan however only likes the "rex-t".
